"Leadership is not magnetic personality; that can just as well be a glib tongue. It is not ‘making friends and influencing people’, that is flattery. Leadership is lifting a person's vision to higher sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations."

Peter F. Drucker

This is a two-day journey designed for people with considerable experience at middle and senior management levels. The workshop focuses on the requirements of being an effective leader in today’s very demanding environment; one which calls for a different type of leadership.

Leading in this environment is very challenging – it calls for strength of purpose and resilience. Leaders must look at and examine the role they want to play as a leader and determine the approach that will best enable them to achieve the results they want.

Participants will be required to have a mature understanding of leadership issues and to be prepared to develop their self-awareness further during this two day interactive workshop.

Course objective:

To facilitate participants understanding of leadership at a deeper level, to develop self-awareness about style and impact and to develop a purposeful approach to leading others more effectively.
